Responsibilities & Context

  • Monitor fabric approval and inventory based on the Micro-Production Plan (MPP), and update AQM/QAM in case of any issues.
  • Ensure the factory sends accurate daily production updates to the concerned merchant team.
  • Work closely with key factory personnel in sampling and sewing areas to meet delivery dates.
  • Escalate exceptions and delays to QA and QAM for timely action.
  • Review size sets, provide necessary comments, make pattern amendments, and proceed to the Pre-Production Meeting (PPM) after size set approval.
  • Follow up on line feeding, machine setup, and mockup approval.
  • Ensure proper line setup and process controls at the factory, including line loading.
  • Inspect the first bundle with the factory team according to ZXY SOP and ensure correct line setup to proceed with bulk production.
  • Verify fabric quality, color, test requirements, print, wash (embellishment) quality, and placement based on the tech pack and customer feedback, maintaining the required quality levels in bulk production.
  • Ensure consistency in washing standards, hand-feel, shade, and test parameters for bulk production.
  • Achieve sample quality and delivery KPIs of over 95% for first-time and on-time sample approval from ZXY HQ.
  • Follow best practices and process control points to ensure ZXY SOPs are maintained for all orders, based on customer grades.
  • Inspect print panels for quality, placement, and cutting quality (marker, relaxing, shade).
  • Review factory QC records, conduct daily inline inspections, and measurement checks to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure print and embroidery (embellishment) quality, shade, hand-feel, and durability in bulk by conducting random wash tests and daily machine calibration according to SOP.
  • Conduct daily inline, pre-final inspections, measurement checks, and random tests as per ZXY SOPs for all styles.
  • Raise flags for any information gaps from ZXY HQ, unethical behavior, or encouragement of mishandling or bypassing SOPs, or shipping rejected/inferior quality shipments, and report to the respective QAM, DMQ, or GM Quality.
