  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Quality Control/Assurance in a well reputed buying office or factory.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following areas: Outerwear: Padded, Fake down, Real Down, Seam Sealed, CWS (Jackets, Technical Outfit & Sportswear), Quality Control, basic on printing, heat seal, embroidery and washing.
  • Should have good working experience with top sportswear/jacket brands.

  • Must have skills in examining and establishing proper quality operations and procedures

Responsibilities & Context

  • Monitor fabric approval and inventory based on the Micro-Production Plan (MPP), and update AQM/QAM in case of any issues.
  • Ensure the factory sends accurate daily production updates to the concerned merchant team.
  • Work closely with key factory personnel in sampling and sewing areas to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Escalate exceptions and delays to QA and QAM for necessary actions.
  • Review size sets, provide necessary comments, make pattern amendments, and proceed to the Pre-Production Meeting (PPM) after size set approval.
  • Follow up on line feeding, machine setup, and mockup approval.
  • Ensure proper line setup process controls are in place at the factory, including line loading.
  • Inspect the first bundle with the factory team according to ZXY SOP and ensure correct line setup to proceed with bulk production.
  • Verify fabric quality, color, test requirements, print, wash (embellishment) quality, and placement according to the tech pack and customer comments, maintaining required quality levels during bulk production.
  • Maintain washing standards, hand-feel, shade consistency, and test parameters for bulk production.
  • Monitor QC activities and provide training to maintain quality standards.
  • Achieve sample quality and delivery KPIs above 95% for first-time and on-time sample approvals from ZXY HQ.
  • Follow best practices and process control points to ensure ZXY SOPs are maintained for all orders, customer grade-wise.
  • Inspect print panels for quality and placement, and check cutting quality (marker, relaxing, shade).
  • Review factory QC records, conduct daily inline inspections and measurement checks, and resolve production issues.
  • Ensure print and embroidery (embellishment) quality, shade, hand feel, and durability in bulk by conducting necessary random wash tests and daily machine calibration per SOP.
  • Conduct daily inline, pre-final inspections, measurement checks, and random tests as per ZXY SOPs for all styles.
  • Raise flags on any information gaps from ZXY HQ, unethical behavior, or any attempts to bypass SOPs, mishandle products, or ship rejected or inferior quality shipments, and report to the respective QAM or AGM Quality.
