  • Ensure the resolution of all quality and production issues through auditing and control processes.
  • Provide size set approval.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of quality checks for fabrics, accessories, and fittings on finished goods before the final audit.
  • Skilled in assessing color and shade variations, with the authority to accept or reject based on standards.
  • Oversee every aspect of quality control and product assembly within the factory.
  • Conduct audits and manage production issues to maintain quality standards.
  • A pre-production (PP) meeting in the garments or apparel industry is crucial for discussing all important matters related to bulk production. These discussions help ensure the successful shipment of ordered goods.
  • Knowledgeable in the Garments Quality SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), which is essential for maintaining quality control in garment manufacturing. Setting standard procedures is vital to achieving high-quality ready-made garments.
  • Special focus is given to inspecting quality points in sewing and finishing. Perform section-wise quality inspections to control garment defects.
  • Deliver any quality control messages from the buyer to relevant departments. Ensure end-product quality before the buyer’s final inspection. Arrange final inspections according to buyer requirements, ensuring that the QC file and bulk garment samples are complete. Obtain sample approval from the buying house and collaborate with the buyer’s QC team during the final inspection. Communicate with the buyer's QC team regarding any quality issues.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop, implement, manage, and communicate a comprehensive quality plan to align the company's Quality Assurance Systems and Policies with industry requirements.
  • Assist quality technicians in reviewing patterns, specifications, and construction, while promptly identifying and resolving production issues. Make final quality decisions based on company standards and buyer requirements.
  • Supervise the evaluation of samples and approval of production by reviewing measurements, workmanship, fit, accessories, and providing feedback on production processes.
