  • Experience with Immigrant Medical Check-ups: Must have prior experience in conducting medical examinations and evaluations for immigrants, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Must be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain accuracy while working in high-pressure environments, especially when dealing with urgent or time-sensitive cases.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Evaluating Patients' Medical Histories: Review patients' medical records to assess the suitability of medical imaging procedures and ensure they are safe for the individual.
  • Suggesting Alternative Imaging Techniques: When necessary, recommend alternative diagnostic imaging methods that would be safer or more effective based on the patient's condition.
  • Informing Patients about the Imaging Process: Clearly explain the steps, purpose, and any potential risks of the medical imaging procedures to ensure patients are informed and comfortable.
  • Image-Guided Diagnostic Procedures: Oversee or perform diagnostic procedures, ensuring that image-guided techniques are carried out correctly by radiology staff to achieve accurate results.
  • Collaborating with Radiology Lab Technicians: Work closely with lab technicians to fine-tune imaging quality, ensuring the clearest and most accurate images possible for diagnostic purposes.
  • Interpreting Diagnostic Results: Analyze and interpret the results from imaging procedures to assist in determining diagnoses and creating patient treatment plans.
  • Communicating with Physicians: Discuss imaging results and diagnoses with physicians to guide clinical decisions, providing clear and detailed reports.
  • Compiling Written Reports: Prepare written documentation of diagnostic results and interpretations for physicians and patient records.
  • Following Emergency Medical Protocols: In emergency situations, adhere to medical protocols for managing resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other urgent conditions to ensure patient safety.
