Responsibilities & Context

  •  Medical Imaging Analysis
  • Interpret and analyze medical images from X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic imaging technologies.
  • Identify abnormalities, diseases, or injuries based on imaging results.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports to referring physicians.
  • 2. Consulting with Physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to discuss imaging findings.
  • Offer expert opinions on imaging results to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
  • 3. Interventional Radiology Procedures
  • Perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures such as biopsies, angioplasty, stent placements, and drain insertions.
  • Ensure precision and patient safety during interventional procedures.
  • 4. Patient Care & Communication
  • Explain imaging procedures and potential findings to patients.
  • Address patient concerns and ensure they understand the imaging process.
  • Provide compassionate care and reassurance before, during, and after procedures.
  • 5. Monitoring Patient Progress
  • Review follow-up imaging studies to track disease progression and treatment effectiveness.
  • Recommend further imaging or interventions based on findings.
  • Adjust treatment plans in coordination with the medical team as needed.
  • 6. Record Keeping & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential imaging records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and radiology best practices.
  • Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging and radiology techniques
