The Reception & Front Desk Executive will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by managing patient reception, appointment coordination, registration, billing support, and cash handling while ensuring a smooth and professional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors with a courteous, friendly, and professional approach, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information regarding hospital services, doctors, appointments, and operational procedures.
- Register patients by collecting, verifying, and updating personal and medical information while maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel doctor appointments as required, ensuring efficient appointment management.
- Guide patients through the consultation process and direct them to the appropriate physician, department, or diagnostic service.
- Assist patients with diagnostic test coordination, billing inquiries, payment procedures, and other front desk services.
- Receive payments, issue official receipts, and ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Prepare daily cash collections and submit cash along with supporting documentation to the Senior Executive Cashier in accordance with established financial procedures.
- Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation, prepare daily transaction reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure strict compliance with organizational policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer service guidelines while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and high service standards.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure seamless patient support and operational efficiency.
- Perform any additional front desk or administrative duties assigned by the reporting supervisor or management.
