Responsibilities & Context

A Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated territory, driving revenue growth by leading teams, setting targets, and strengthening client relationships. This role acts as a link between head office strategy and field execution, ensuring effective implementation and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and guide sales representatives and area managers to enhance team performance.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales volume and revenue targets for the region.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute regional sales strategies, forecasts, and promotional plans to increase market share.
  • Channel Management: Identify, onboard, and manage dealers and distributors, maintaining strong business relationships.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales data and KPIs to evaluate performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to understand competitors, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to senior management.
