Job Context:
The Registrar (Surgery) will assist the Professor/Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery in all academic, clinical, and administrative activities. The position involves active participation in patient care, surgical procedures, teaching, and maintaining high standards of clinical service within Monno Medical College & Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior faculty members in conducting surgical operations and patient management.
Participate in daily ward rounds, pre-operative and post-operative care.
Support undergraduate and intern doctors in clinical learning and training activities.
Ensure proper documentation, patient records, and follow-up as per hospital policy.
Take part in emergency surgical duties and on-call rotations as required.
Contribute to departmental meetings, case discussions, and academic sessions.
Maintain compliance with BMDC and institutional medical ethics and protocols.
Assist in research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
