Job Context

We are seeking a motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support laboratory research and Quality Control (QC) activities. The role involves assisting with laboratory experiments, sample preparation, data collection, documentation, equipment handling, and daily research operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support researchers and laboratory scientists in planning and conducting experiments and daily research activities.

• Prepare reagents, solutions, media, and laboratory samples according to approved research protocols.

• Collect, label, process, preserve, and store samples following established procedures.

• Conduct routine laboratory tests and experimental activities under appropriate supervision.

• Operate, clean, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance of laboratory equipment in accordance with SOPs.

• Maintain accurate experimental records, observations, measurements, and test results.

• Organize and analyze research and Quality Control (QC) data, assisting with reports, graphs, tables, presentations, and scientific documentation.

• Follow laboratory SOPs, research protocols, quality standards, ethical requirements, and safety procedures.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure safe handling and disposal of chemicals, biological samples, and laboratory waste.

• Monitor laboratory supplies, reagents, consumables, and equipment inventory.

• Report equipment malfunctions, experimental irregularities, and safety concerns to supervisors.

• Assist with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities as required.

• Maintain confidentiality of research findings, samples, and project information.

• Support literature reviews and preparation of research-related documents.

• Collaborate with researchers, scientists, technicians, and other team members to achieve research objectives.

• Perform additional laboratory and research duties assigned by management.
