Residential Medical Officer (RMO)

• Fresh MBBS graduates who have completed their internship and hold valid BMDC registration are also eligible to apply.

• Prior experience in emergency, ward, or ICU services will be considered an advantage.

• Strong clinical assessment and emergency response capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make timely clinical decisions.

• Willingness to undertake residential and night shifts as required.

• Patient-focused, responsible, disciplined, and professional in approach.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Strong skills in medical documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment to admitted and emergency patients.

• Conduct regular ward rounds and closely monitor patients’ clinical conditions.

• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide immediate medical management.

• Take appropriate clinical action in critical and life-threatening situations.

• Monitor vital signs, treatment progress, and patients’ responses to prescribed medications.

• Maintain accurate patient records, prescriptions, clinical notes, and other medical documentation.

• Coordinate effectively with Consultants, Senior Medical Officers, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Refer patients to appropriate Consultants or higher-level medical facilities when required.

• Ensure doctors’ instructions and treatment plans are implemented accurately and on time.

• Provide patients and attendants with clear guidance on treatment, medication, and follow-up care.

• Ensure proper patient handover with all relevant clinical information.

• Supervise basic clinical activities and assist nursing teams when necessary.

• Remain readily available to handle medical emergencies within the hospital premises.

• Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and high standards of patient care.

• Follow hospital policies, infection-control measures, and established clinical protocols.

• Prepare emergency, incident, and other clinical reports as required.

• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical audit activities.

• Perform other medical duties assigned by the Hospital Administration.
