Responsibilities & Context

Conduct thorough physical examinations and document patients' medical histories.
Manage both acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
Prescribe medications and order necessary laboratory tests.
Coordinate with nurses, lab technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Clinical Duties:
Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Participate in patient rounds and relevant case discussions.
Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of patient records.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to emergency cases and provide appropriate treatment.
Coordinate with emergency services, including ambulance teams and first responders.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with specialists and support staff to plan and deliver patient care.
Communicate treatment plans and care processes clearly to patients and their families.
Education and Training:
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees.
Stay current with medical advancements and incorporate new practices as appropriate.
Quality Assurance:
Adhere to hospital regulations and protocols, particularly regarding infection control.
Participate in audits and contribute to efforts to improve the quality of care.
Research and Development:
Support medical research and contribute to scholarly publications.
Participate in and facilitate continuing medical education programs.

As a result Labaid diagnostic was established with the belief that a cure is the result of an accurate diagnosis. At that time there was not much option for cardiac treatment except going to neighboring countries. Labaid Cardiac Hospital unfolded a new horizon of cardiac treatment for Bangladeshi patients.

A need for a specialized treatment was also there. Considering this need Labaid established Labaid specialized hospital which was another breakthrough in the health care sector of Bangladesh. Having a phenomenal growth Labaid diversified its business to different sector like education, financial, agros, real estate etc. Recently Labaid has entered in pharmaceutical industry with an aim to provide unparallel quality products at an affordable price.
