  • Experience with developing PLC-controlled machinery and ladder logic programming is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with hardware components related to automation systems (e.g., sensors, I/O modules, actuators, etc.).
  • Experience in data analysis and machine vision is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and JavaScript. Familiarity with various industrial communication protocols, including PROFINET, Ethernet/IP, RS-232, and RS-485.
  • Strong analytical and team collaboration skills, with the ability to work across disciplines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear documentation.
  • Experience with various machine learning and industrial data processing frameworks (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, etc.)

Responsibilities & Context

  • Research various automation controllers for designing industrial automation systems (e.g., packaging systems, palletizers, AGVs, and conveyors) for operational efficiency.
  • Design and prototype custom automation controllers using SCADA systems and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming for automation solutions.
  • Ensure seamless configuration and integration of controllers, actuators, motors, and sensors within automation systems.
  • Conduct testing and optimization of automation systems for reliability and efficiency in manufacturing environments, including on-site testing.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, testing processes, and outcomes.
  • Keep updated on advancements in automation technology and industry best practices.
