Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) In EEE/ Biomedical Engineering. Any reputed Public or Private University.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the medical equipment sector in the Chittagong market.
- Strong understanding of private and government procurement processes and regulations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of our products, as well as competitors' products, to leverage comparisons effectively.
- Established stronghold in the Chittagong medical equipment sales market.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required to meet clients and manage sales activities.
Responsibilities & Context
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the private and public hospital procurement sectors across Chittagong, Feni, Noakhali, Khagrachari, Rangamati, Bandarban, Cox-Bazar, and remote areas.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including private and government officials, hospital administrators, and purchasing managers.
Private and Government Procurement:
- Oversee the government procurement process for medical equipment, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate submission of proposals.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve product positioning and sales strategies.
- Monitor and report on market developments and competitor activities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers, creating demand for medical products.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and other sales teams.
- Ensure sales strategies align with company goals and objectives.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to the development of sales plans and initiatives.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights, adhering to company guidelines.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
