Responsibilities & Context

  • Audit Production Sites:
  • Conduct regular audits of production sites to assess compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Prepare audit reports within 48 hours of the site visit (approximately 2 days).
  • Corrective Action Plans (CAPs):
  • Communicate with production sites to develop and implement corrective action plans based on audit findings.
  • Ensure production sites achieve at least an Amber rating and maintain sustained compliance.
  • Support Production Control:
  • Assist the production control department with production audits, ensuring no unauthorized subcontracting or warehouse usage.
  • Follow up with production sites to track progress on structural and environmental audits.
  • Initial Audits for New Production Units:
  • Conduct initial audits of new production units, evaluating their compliance status and reviewing the availability of structural documents.
  • Support the onboarding process for new factories according to customer codes of conduct.
  • Compliance & Labor Law Guidance:
  • Guide compliance and HR personnel at existing production units to operate smoothly in accordance with Bangladesh Labor Law.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and chemical management standards at production sites.
  • Grievance Investigations:
  • Investigate any grievances that arise from brands or other parties regarding production units and provide resolution recommendations.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing:
  • Provide training on social compliance and safety protocols to Tex International and associated production units.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions related to industrial relations, ethical compliance, environmental compliance, and other related topics.
  • Project Monitoring:
  • Follow up on customer projects within production units, such as Janbo Mora Janabo, Simon Project, Amader Kotha, EIS Pilot Project, Solar Project, Energy Assessment, and Environmental Assessment.
  • Tier-1 & Tier-2 Factory Development:
  • Develop and guide Tier-1, Tier-2, and dyeing factories to prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and address non-compliance issues raised by customers.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Regularly attend meetings, both physical and virtual, to stay updated on industry trends and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the compliance and production teams to ensure alignment with customer and regulatory expectations.
