Job Title: Senior Education Consultant

Role Summary: The Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance to prospective students, managing the entire admission cycle from inquiry to visa approval, and meeting enrollment targets. They will serve as a key advisor for students seeking higher education in China, Europe, and other global destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counseling & Assessment

• Conduct in-depth counseling sessions with students and parents to understand their academic background, financial budget, and career goals.

• Assess student profiles to recommend suitable universities and programs in China, Georgia, Lithuania, and other European countries.

• Provide clear, accurate information regarding tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, and living costs in target countries.

• Convert prospective leads into registered clients by effectively communicating the value of IESBD’s services.

2. Application & Admission Management

• Oversee the preparation and submission of error-free university applications.

• Liaise directly with university admissions teams to track application status and resolve any issues.

• Ensure all student documents (academic transcripts, SOPs, recommendation letters) meet international standards.

• Guide students on how to write compelling Statements of Purpose (SOP) and prepare for university interviews.

3. Visa Guidance & Documentation

• Provide expert advice on current visa policies and documentation requirements for Schengen (Europe) and Asian countries.

• Review student visa files to ensure compliance with embassy checklists before submission.

• Conduct mock interview sessions to prepare students for embassy interviews (crucial for European destinations).

4. Client Relationship Management

• Maintain regular follow-ups with pending leads via phone, email, and WhatsApp to ensure a high conversion rate.

• Handle difficult or complex cases that junior counselors may not be able to resolve.

• Build trust with parents and guardians to ensure transparency throughout the process.

5. Business Development & Strategy

• Assist the CEO in identifying new university partnerships or emerging study destinations.

• Mentor junior staff or interns (if applicable) on counseling best practices.

• Represent IESBD at education fairs, seminars, and promotional events in Barishal and surrounding areas.

Recommended Qualifications (To help you screen candidates):

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Marketing, English, or Education preferred).

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the study abroad/consultancy industry.

• Skills: Strong command of English (spoken and written), proficiency in MS Office, and excellent convincing ability.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with the visa procedures for China and Schengen countries is highly preferred.
