Senior Developer / Developer

✔ 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in software development, reporting, business intelligence, or a related field.

✔ Strong hands-on experience in Python and/or PHP, with production-level application development or scripting experience.

✔ Solid working experience with MS SQL Server and SSRS, including report development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to data accuracy, reliability, and quality.

✔ Experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and dashboard development, will be an added advantage.

✔ Familiarity with Django and/or Laravel, APIs, system and data integration, and Git or other version control systems will be an advantage.

✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and work effectively as part of a team.

✔ Well-groomed, smart, energetic, and professional in appearance and attitude.

✔ Strong presentation and delivery skills.

The company is currently hiring a Senior Developer / Developer at its Headquarters in Dhaka.

Job Context

The Senior Developer / Developer will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing ZXY International’s reporting environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, and application-level development using Python and/or PHP.

The role will work closely with business stakeholders and the IT & ERP team to understand reporting requirements and translate them into reliable, scalable, secure, and well-documented technical solutions. The position will also contribute to improving reporting processes and tools used across ZXY International’s global offices.

Job Responsibilities

✔ Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing SSRS reports, ensuring data accuracy, optimal performance, and timely delivery to business users.

✔ Design and develop reporting applications, scripts, and tools using Python and/or PHP.

✔ Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views in Microsoft SQL Server.

✔ Build and maintain data pipelines and backend logic that support reports, dashboards, and other reporting applications.

✔ Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across departments and global offices and translate them into practical technical solutions.

✔ Diagnose and resolve issues related to report performance, data accuracy, system integration, and reporting functionality.

✔ Collaborate with the IT & ERP team to ensure reporting solutions comply with data governance, security, and data integrity standards.

✔ Participate in the testing, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing technical support of reporting applications and solutions.

✔ Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date technical documentation for reports, scripts, database objects, and reporting processes.

✔ Identify opportunities to improve existing reporting processes, tools, and technical architecture while staying updated on relevant Business Intelligence (BI) and software development technologies.

✔ Support the integration of reporting solutions with APIs and other source systems when required.

✔ Contribute to the adoption of software development best practices, including version control, documentation, testing, code quality, and maintainable coding standards.
