  • Experience of MERN, different versions of Android/IOS, and how to deal with different screen sizes

  • Knowledge of the open-source ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with continuous integration

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a Senior Developer with at least 5 years of experience working with MongoDB, Express, React, React Native, NodeJS, NextJS, socket for development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse PC/Android/Apple devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Arogga applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

  • Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
  • Experience of use automatic testing tools.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Peer review code, feedback changes if required
  • Build/maintain testable, scalable solution
  • Self-starter who can manage the workload of the tech team, prioritise, and assign jobs as per their expertise, setting targets and meet them
  • Help junior team members learn and grow their expertise
