Responsibilities & Context

  • Review the production plan to ensure timely shipments and coordinate with the merchandiser to supply raw materials to the production floor according to the plan.
  • Prepare style-wise manning levels and line layouts for new styles based on the operation breakdown.
  • Collect daily headcount from the production floor and prepare line and section-wise target, achievement, and efficiency reports, including loss time.
  • Arrange and follow up on workplace setup, method studies, and time measurements for new styles to set SMV.
  • Follow up on operation breakdowns through production time or motion studies and prepare operation-wise rate sheets for the production piece-rate areas.
  • Monitor section and line-wise hourly production targets and achievements, addressing non-achievement areas as necessary.
  • Coordinate with HR to obtain a list of new operators, conduct skill tests, and provide reports to HR.
  • Monitor daily lost time and chargeback reports, preparing a monthly summary for sharing with the department head.
  • Prepare monthly section-wise target vs. achievement reports and KPIs.
  • Increase productivity and efficiency through method studies, re-engineering, motion studies, time studies, and line balancing.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance quality and reduce production costs.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
