Responsibilities & Context

  • Daily Operations Management:
  • Supervise and manage all daily operations of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Network & Hardware Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and quickly resolve network and hardware issues related to desktop computers, laptops, tablet PCs, network printers, scanners, POS PCs, barcode printers, etc.
  • In-House and 3rd Party Application Support:
  • Provide Level 1 support for in-house applications (e.g., ERP, HRMS) and 3rd party applications (e.g., GSD, FastReact Plan, IntelloCut, IntelloBuy, Winda, Assyst).
  • Microsoft 365 & Server Management:
  • Offer support for Microsoft 365 applications and manage RODC and VAT servers.
  • Internet Firewall Administration:
  • Administer and maintain the Internet Firewall (FortiGate), ensuring network security.
  • Connectivity & Bandwidth Management:
  • Monitor and maintain seamless internet and data connectivity, with effective bandwidth management.
  • Collaboration with Vendors:
  • Work closely with vendors to resolve issues related to the Surveillance System and Attendance System.
  • Network Solutions Management:
  • Manage network solutions for short, medium, and long-term projects, ensuring efficient system performance.
  • Technical Research & Network Upgrades:
  • Conduct research on network upgrades and components to evaluate feasibility, cost, time requirements, and system compatibility.
  • ICT Budget Preparation:
  • Prepare the annual ICT department budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Document Management & Training:
  • Develop and manage updated ICT-related documents and provide basic ICT training and guidance to users.
  • Adopting New Technologies:
  • Research and plan the adoption of new technologies and drive digital transformation initiatives within the organization.
