Responsibilities & Context
Quality Feeds Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Executive – IT Infrastructure & System Administration to manage, maintain, and optimize the company’s overall IT infrastructure and system operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in server management, networking, firewall security, data center operations, CCTV surveillance systems, and corporate email administration while ensuring stable, secure, and uninterrupted business operations.
🔹 Network Administration
- Plan, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure across all company locations
- Manage enterprise networking devices including routers, managed switches, and wireless access points (Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or similar)
- Configure and maintain VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and routing protocols
- Monitor network uptime, bandwidth usage, and performance to ensure maximum availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate network topology diagrams and IP address documentation
🔹 Firewall & Network Security
- Configure and maintain enterprise firewall systems such as Fortinet FortiGate or MikroTik RouterOS
- Manage firewall policies, ACLs, NAT configurations, VPN connectivity, and security zones
- Set up and maintain site-to-site and remote access VPN tunnels
- Conduct regular security audits, firewall reviews, and vulnerability assessments
- Monitor and respond to network intrusion attempts and cybersecurity incidents
🔹 Server & System Administration
- Install, configure, and manage Windows Server environments including:
- Active Directory
- DNS
- DHCP
- Group Policy
- File Server
- Administer Linux-based servers for web hosting, mail services, and enterprise applications
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V
- Monitor server health, CPU/RAM usage, storage performance, and generate system reports
- Apply regular security patches, updates, and system maintenance
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control through Active Directory
🔹 Data Center Management
- Operate and maintain on-premise data center infrastructure, including:
- Server racks
- UPS systems
- PDUs
- Cooling systems
- Manage data backup schedules and regularly test backup restoration procedures
- Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
- Coordinate with ISPs and hardware vendors for network connectivity and equipment maintenance
- Maintain complete data center documentation and capacity planning records
🔹 CCTV & Physical Security Systems
- Install, configure, and maintain IP-based CCTV surveillance systems (Hikvision, Dahua, or equivalent)
- Manage NVR/DVR systems, video recording, and storage allocation
- Troubleshoot surveillance-related hardware, cabling, and network issues
- Coordinate with vendors regarding AMC support and hardware replacement
- Ensure continuous 24/7 operation of surveillance systems and escalate critical faults immediately
🔹 Office Email & Communication Management
- Administer corporate email platforms including Microsoft 365
- Create and manage user accounts, aliases, shared mailboxes, and distribution groups
- Configure and maintain email authentication and security records including:
- Monitor spam filtering, quarantine management, and blacklist/whitelist settings
- Troubleshoot email delivery issues, bounce errors, and mail flow problems
- Manage email storage, archiving, and retention policies
- Handle DNS records related to email services (MX, TXT, CNAME)
🔹 General IT Support & Administration
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to users across departments
- Maintain IT asset inventory including hardware, software, and licensing records
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, warranty claims, and AMC renewals
- Prepare and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and incident reports
- Support management in planning and implementing IT infrastructure projects
