Responsibilities & Context

  • Receive and review production plans from the Product Design Division, ensuring they align with overall production goals and available capacity.
  • Allocate production plans to the Merchandising Department, clearly communicating specifications, timelines, and production requirements.
  • Develop and manage detailed production timelines for all seasonal programs, coordinating internal planning to ensure timely product readiness.
  • Coordinate closely with manufacturing partners to ensure they meet production timelines, uphold quality standards, and quickly address any production challenges.
  • Monitor resource availability and production capacity, adjusting plans as needed to maintain smooth workflow and prevent delays.
  • Identify and resolve potential production bottlenecks, delays, or quality concerns, implementing proactive solutions to stay on track.
  • Keep detailed records of production progress, preparing regular reports for senior management to highlight risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Merchandising, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless production from concept to delivery.
  • Suggest and implement improvements in production planning processes to enhance efficiency, shorten lead times, and improve product quality.
