Responsibilities & Context

  • Trims & Accessories Quality:
  • Ensure the quality of trims and accessories, supported by relevant documentation.
  • Shrinkage Reports:
  • Prepare shrinkage reports and decide on customized markers for specific batches or rolls.
  • Fabric Relaxation:
  • Ensure fabric relaxation adheres to standard timelines before the cutting process begins.
  • Defective Fabric Follow-Up:
  • Monitor defective fabrics and coordinate with the Textile QA team to implement corrective action plans.
  • Report Monitoring:
  • Oversee and follow up on critical reports, including:
  • Fabric inspection
  • Shade band and GSM analysis
  • Shrinkage reports
  • Body-to-trim matching reports
  • Root Cause Analysis:
  • Conduct root cause analysis for every problem and propose permanent solutions.
  • Marker Checks:
  • Verify markers for:
  • Grainline accuracy
  • Proper ratio and inclusion of all parts
  • Correct marker length and width matching received fabric
  • Spreading Sheet Verification:
  • Ensure the spreading sheet is maintained accurately, with color continuity and GSM check reports properly documented.
  • Verify sticker attachment as part of the process.
  • Bundling & Numbering:
  • Monitor bundling and numbering forms to ensure they are maintained correctly.
  • Corrective Actions for Cutting Issues:
  • Identify and resolve cutting or spreading problems by providing corrective actions.
  • Cut Panel Audit Reports:
  • Review and validate cut panel audit reports for compliance.
  • Shade and Size Set Corrections:
  • Implement corrective action plans for running shades and size sets in patterns.
  • Process Deviation Reporting:
  • Report any deviations in the process and collaborate with the team to take corrective actions.
