• Participate in PP Meetings:
• Actively participate in Pre-Production (PP) meetings to stay informed and provide insights on quality-related matters.
• Fabric Issue Communication:
• Communicate with the fabric mill if any fabric issues arise, such as GSM discrepancies, shade variation, or fabric defects, and work towards resolution.
• Fabric Shrinkage and Size Set Correction:
• Monitor fabric shrinkage status and follow up on size set corrections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Cutting Issues Communication:
• Address any cutting-related issues, such as marker alignment and lay height, by communicating with the cutting authority for corrective measures.
• Embellishment Communication:
• Coordinate with the embellishment factory if there are any issues related to embellishments, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Review and Approve First-Line Output:
• Review the first-line production output, provide comments, and approve it for further processing.
• Brief QA Team on Style-Specific Points:
• Clearly communicate important style-specific requirements to the relevant QA team to ensure proper understanding and adherence.
• Finishing Return & Audit Pass Rate:
• Follow up on the finishing return and audit pass rates. Discuss findings with the relevant sewing executive to address any issues.
• Approval Communication with Merchandiser/Buyer:
• Communicate with the merchandiser or buyer to obtain necessary approvals when required, ensuring alignment with expectations.
• Customer Safety Feedback:
• Provide ongoing feedback regarding customer safety issues, ensuring any safety concerns are addressed promptly.
• Audit Failure Discussion:
• If the audit fails, initiate a discussion with the relevant executive to identify the root cause and corrective actions.
• Monitor DHU% & Finishing Return:
• Regularly monitor DHU% and finishing return rates, ensuring corrective actions are implemented where needed.
• Inline Findings Discussion:
• Discuss any inline findings with relevant personnel to ensure immediate attention and corrective measures.
• Defect Quantity Review:
• If defects such as shading or measurement issues are excessive, collaborate with the sewing team to address and correct the problem.
• Training and Guidance for QA Team:
• Provide ongoing guidance and training for the QA team and monitor their performance through reports to maintain high-quality standards.
• Process Monitoring and Improvement:
• Continuously monitor the production process, identify opportunities for improvement, and discuss potential implementations with top management.
