  • MBA, PGD in Supply Chain Management.
  • A great communicator, comfortable interacting with vendors, suppliers, banks, and government officials.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, consistently managing import documents, customs procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
  • A proactive thinker, constantly seeking out new suppliers and ensuring production requirements are met on time.
  • Analytical, capable of handling import documents and managing BB/cash LC and FOC processes independently.
  • Customs knowledgeable, with a thorough understanding of customs clearance and related government policies.
  • Flexible and a problem solver, able to adapt to changes, coordinate with various parties, and handle additional tasks as required.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage L/C related work which include - corresponding with vendors, opening L/C and its amendment, monitoring shipment, document requirement formalities and custom clearing.
  • Foreign purchase of machinery, spare parts & raw materials.
  • Sourcing new suppliers and maintaining relationship with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of production requirement.
  • Avail government incentives and coordinate with banks, other departments, outside parties, government offices.
  • Monitor and follow up on import documents, as well as coordinate with the supplier.
  • Responsible for Custom clearance of Imported/Exported materials with BB/cash LC, FOC process independently.
  • Maintain liaison with customs, C&F, Port Authority, Shipping agent, Bank, Insurance Company and other related Government officials.
  • Maintain in / out flow of payment (L/Cs, TT etc.).
  • Maintain Time & Action plan, proper record of all LC, payment etc.
  • Co-operates with suppliers (Local & Foreign) for shipment schedule and timely shipment-related information.
  • To carry out any other jobs as assigned by the Management from time to time.
