Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee the complete accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments from clients and customers.
  •  Maintain detailed and accurate records of all collections, payments, and outstanding balances in the system.
  •  Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports, offering insights into cash flow, aging of receivables, and collection efficiency.
  •  Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions, collections, and payments are accurately recorded and accounted for.
  • Implement follow-up procedures for overdue payments, coordinating with clients to settle outstanding invoices and maintain a low level of aged receivables.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Billing Teams: Work closely with the sales and billing teams to ensure invoices are generated correctly, payments are applied properly, and any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Assist in forecasting cash flows based on collection schedules and projected payments, providing input to support the organization’s liquidity management.
  • Provide necessary documentation, reports, and support during financial audits related to collections and accounts receivable.
