Responsibilities & Context

  • Coordinating and following up with the relevant merchandising, commercial, and other departments regarding any issues related to the timely delivery of scheduled materials.
  • Supervising all processes in the raw material stores to ensure that all received goods meet acceptable quality and condition standards, escalating any issues related to non-compliance.
  • Managing and controlling inventory, ensuring that all records are updated and maintained accurately and promptly to support decision-making.
  • Maintaining the store with the 5S standard (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). Stocks should be organized, easily traceable, and clearly displayed. Visual signage and identification should be properly maintained to improve efficiency and provide a better outlook.
  • Coordinating with merchandising, commercial, supply chain, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies in material receipts.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring that the necessary quantities are maintained to meet internal requirements.
  • Attending production-related meetings to identify and address potential issues and to gather information on special material requirements for future orders.
  • Ensuring that safety procedures are followed effectively to minimize accidents or incidents in the workplace.
  • Ensuring periodic stock verifications are conducted according to the accepted procedure.
  • Undertaking any additional responsibilities assigned by management based on operational needs.
