Additional Requirements
At least 1 year of independent practice as an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist without supervision.
Possession of a valid and current medical license and registration to practice.
Willingness and ability to travel to remote, insecure, or unstable locations as required.
Experience in managing obstetric and gynaecological complications commonly seen in humanitarian emergencies, including infectious diseases during pregnancy and clinical care for survivors of sexual violence.
Knowledge of the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for reproductive health in humanitarian contexts.
Certification or training in Advanced Life Support (ALS), Paediatric Life Support (PLS), and Neonatal Life Support (NLS), or equivalent qualifications.

As Senior Medical Officer at Save the Children’s Maternal and Child Hospital in Teknaf, the incumbent will:
Lead the management of high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies.
Provide specialized clinical care to mothers and children.
Mentor and supervise medical teams to strengthen clinical capacity.
Collaborate with local health authorities and technical partners to enhance service delivery standards.
Contribute to improving maternal and child health outcomes in a challenging and underserved environment.
