  • Identify, assess, and onboard factories meeting quality, capacity, and compliance standards.
  • Build and maintain strong factory relationships for seamless communication and operations.
  • Conduct factory visits to evaluate capabilities, monitor production, and resolve issues.
  • Analyze costs to develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with design teams for market-aligned sample development.
  • Create product presentations with design concepts, specifications, and cost breakdowns.
  • Negotiate factory costs to meet budgets without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including production and quality control.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and work as a team
  • Should be well-groomed, smart, and energetic
  • Strong presentation and delivery skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in footwear and accessories.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies for footwear and accessories to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new product opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with design, sourcing, and production teams to align products with customer preferences.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and order terms to optimize costs and enhance profitability.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Manage order placement, production tracking, and ensure timely product shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of production timelines, inventory levels, and order statuses.
  • Address and resolve production delays or quality-related issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to ensure all products meet company standards.
  • Address supplier quality concerns and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure product availability aligns with promotional activities.
  • Communicate product updates and delivery schedules to key stakeholders.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and supplier efficiency.
  • Leverage sales data and market insights to shape future merchandising strategies.
