Responsibilities & Context

  • Order Management: Assist the line manager in ensuring timely order processing, design development, costing, production, and shipment.
  • Pricing and Negotiation: Prepare competitive cost sheets, quote prices, and negotiate with buyers to secure orders.
  • Target Achievement: Manage merchandising activities to meet monthly and yearly sales targets.
  • Order Monitoring: Track individual orders from inception to shipment, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
  • Material Sourcing: Oversee sourcing and procurement of samples, lab dips, accessories, and trims locally and internationally; liaise with suppliers for competitive pricing.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain all merchandising communications, order files, reports, and style-specific data sheets.
  • Production Coordination: Monitor production progress according to approved timelines (T&A) and ensure smooth execution.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Quality, and Commercial departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Maintain databases and prepare necessary reports and presentations for management.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager or Department Head.
