Responsibilities & Context

  • Job Title: Fixed-Term Contractual Staff (Core Position)  
  • Job Location: UCEP Khulna Region  
  • Job Purpose: To ensure efficient management of UCEP Bangladesh’s finance, accounts, procurement, and administration functions, in compliance with policies, procedures, and national laws, aligning with UCEP's values, vision, mission, and goals.  
  • Core Responsibilities:
  •  Implement UCEP Bangladesh’s values, mission, and goals in financial and accounting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with national financial management policies.
  •  Manage financial software tools (ERP, Quickbook, Tally) effectively.
  • Develop annual business goals for finance and accounts.
  • Maintain transparent record-keeping and manage Provident Fund and Gratuity Fund.
  • Prepare vouchers, payroll, and monthly/quarterly regional budgets.
  • Submit fund clearance applications and prepare budget variance reports.
  • Support annual accounts preparation for management and auditors.
  • Ensure timely tax deductions and deposits (VAT & IT).
  • Coordinate with other departments for efficient financial management.
  • Manage asset transactions and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Oversee petty cash and financial disbursements.
  • Support purchase activities for regional operations.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
