Additional Requirements

• Support data analysis and reporting for various assessments, including need assessments, baseline/end-line surveys, Onsite Distribution Monitoring (ODM), and Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM).
• Collect primary and secondary data through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), Community Consultative Meetings (CCM), Key Informant Interviews (KII), and literature reviews.
• Assist in sourcing information for project reporting and proposal development.
• Conduct desk research on topics related to inequality and social innovation practices.
• Contribute to accountability assessments, including community feedback sessions, satisfaction surveys, and field surveys.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis for reports and assessments.
• Reporting & Data Archiving – 30%
• Assist in preparing project documents, case studies, and monitoring reports.
• Contribute to preparing monthly, quarterly, interim, and final narrative reports in line with project proposals and requirements.
• Ensure proper compilation of results, learning, and uptake from activities.
• Maintain data archiving (both hard and electronic copies) in compliance with IR guidelines.
• Ensure key project information is updated and documented, tracking progress against strategic targets and project indicators.
• Analyze project impact and document best practices to support decision-making and learning.
• Lead data collection, processing, and analysis as required by the project.
• Support donor reporting for other projects under the Humanitarian and Resilience Programme.
• Accountability & Learning – 10%
• Assist in handling the Complaint Feedback Mechanism (CFM) and maintaining project-based CFM logs.
• Contribute to the Core Humanitarian Standards and IHSAN Standards at Islamic Relief Bangladesh.
• Document lessons learned and facilitate learning workshops and annual sharing meetings.
• Coordinate with the IRB MEAL team on accountability and learning activities.
• Capacity Building – 10%
• Support capacity development initiatives for staff in data collection, stakeholder interviews, and activity monitoring.
• Prepare capacity-building materials for climate-adaptive livelihoods and provide technical support for training.
• Orient key stakeholders on CFM, Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Gender Sensitivity issues related to project activities.
• Organize training, workshops, and other capacity-building activities for internal and external stakeholders.
• Other Responsibilities – 5%
• Participate in seasonal program activities (Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization, etc.).
• Report on security-related issues and liaise with the security focal point or project management.
• Facilitate donor/external visits, addressing any recommendations or feedback.
• Willingness to travel frequently to remote project areas.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the management.
