  • Strong knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing quality standards in large-scale footwear production environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to pitch products effectively.
  • Proficiency in using quality management tools and software for inspections, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, inspection, or production, preferably in footwear and accessories.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance standards for footwear and accessories to meet organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective quality control systems and procedures throughout the production process.
  • Ensure compliance with international quality standards and company-specific requirements.
  • Conduct pre-production, in-line, and final inspections of footwear and accessories to maintain quality benchmarks.
  • Identify defects and deviations from quality standards, providing timely feedback to vendors and suppliers.
  • Approve or reject finished goods based on established quality criteria.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet required specifications.
  • Provide training and guidance to vendors on quality requirements and industry best practices.
  • Address quality-related issues, enforce corrective actions with suppliers, and ensure long-term improvements.
  • Perform and oversee product testing to validate durability, performance, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection and quality audit reports, highlighting findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze recurring defects and propose process improvements to minimize quality issues.
  • Work closely with production, merchandising, and design teams to ensure quality standards align with product objectives.
  • Communicate quality updates and feedback to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance procedures and implement best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce defects and optimize production processes, driving improved efficiency and product quality.
