Experience


  • 5 Year

Additional Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and ability to apply them when necessary.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
 
 
  • ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications.
  • Experience in testing cloud-based or distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with database testing (SQL or NoSQL).

Responsibilities & Context

Mediusware Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on automation testing while possessing the ability to handle manual testing when necessary. This role is critical for ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Conduct manual testing to identify user experience issues and edge cases.
  • Analyze requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and ensure test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, and work closely with developers for resolution.
  • Lead regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
  • Optimize and maintain the automation framework to align with evolving project needs.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on best practices.
