  • Strong knowledge of international travel destinations, particularly Maldives and Sri Lanka, including resorts, attractions, visa requirements, transportation options, and travel regulations.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude with the ability to prepare accurate tour quotations, package pricing, cost calculations, and travel budgets.
  • Proven organizational, operational, and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple travel bookings and customer requests efficiently.
  • Strong command of both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally with international clients, travel partners, and hospitality providers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint, along with working knowledge of Canva for presentation and promotional content development.
  • Excellent presentation, customer engagement, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional and courteous approach.
  • Creative, proactive, and innovative mindset with the ability to contribute new ideas for business growth, customer experience enhancement, and travel product development.
  • Pleasant personality with strong relationship-building capabilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Strong willingness to learn new travel products, destination information, tourism trends, and digital tools relevant to the travel industry.
  • Sound understanding of the tourism, hospitality, airline, and travel services industry.
  • Experience in Email Marketing, digital customer engagement, CRM tools, lead nurturing, and promotional campaign management will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems, reservation platforms, tour operations, and destination management practices will be highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Provide professional travel consultation and destination expertise for international tour packages, with a special focus on Maldives and Sri Lanka travel experiences.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries by preparing accurate quotations, package pricing, and cost calculations for tours, accommodations, and travel services.
  • Present detailed information about travel products, tour packages, resorts, hotels, and destination attractions through phone calls, emails, online communication channels, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Design customized travel itineraries and package proposals tailored to client preferences, budgets, and travel requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update package details, pricing sheets, contracts, and travel documentation using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Manage hotel, resort, and travel service reservations while ensuring smooth booking operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotel partners, destination management companies (DMCs), and other tourism stakeholders.
  • Deliver professional presentations, travel proposals, and promotional materials using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the travel planning, booking, and post-sales support process.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless travel arrangements and service delivery.
  • Actively engage with customers through digital platforms, social media channels, email communication, and online travel inquiries to generate leads and enhance customer engagement.
  • Monitor travel trends, destination updates, promotional offers, and market opportunities to support business growth and sales performance.
