Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintain assigned security posts/areas and conduct regular monitoring, patrols, and access control activities.
  • Manage gate registers, record visitor and vehicle information, perform security checks when required, and ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Identify, prevent, and respond to unauthorized access, suspicious activities, theft, disturbances, and other security risks.
  • Take immediate action during emergencies, accidents, or security incidents and promptly report them to the appropriate authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, observations, and duty logs, and prepare reports as required.
  • Control and monitor the entry and exit of students, parents, and visitors at school gates, ensuring proper visitor verification procedures.
  • Oversee traffic flow during student drop-off and pick-up hours, coordinate vehicle movement, and ensure the safe movement of students.
  • Support the administration and relevant teams in maintaining campus safety, discipline, and a secure learning environment.
  • Follow established fire safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Safeguard school assets, infrastructure, and security equipment, provide assistance in operational activities when required, and perform duties in accordance with the school's SOPs and policies.
