  • Minimum 03 years of hands-on experience in sourcing, preferably in the luggage and bag industry.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing processes, procurement strategies, and supplier management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain tools, ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in material sourcing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Source and procure high-quality materials for luggage and bags, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers locally and internationally.
  • Conduct market research to assess new trends, materials and technologies in luggage and bag manufacturing.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure materials meet product specifications.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain a database of approved suppliers.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports and cost estimates.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, sustainability practices, and company policies.
  • Address sourcing-related challenges and implement solutions effectively.
  • Regularly update the management team regarding market conditions and procurement status.
