  • Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar) is a plus.
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Familiar with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, OpenProject).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks at once.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities, new technologies, and evolving methodologies.
  • Proactive in identifying issues and implementing practical solutions to maintain quality.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Collaborate with software and product designers to understand requirements and contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans.
  • Analyze and document detailed test cases based on specified requirements.
  • Prepare test scenarios, scripts, cases, and results to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Conduct various testing types, including sanity, functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure product quality and stability.
  • Ensure test execution is completed within the agreed timelines, using tools and techniques provided by the Test/Project Lead.
  • Maintain proper documentation of testing deliverables, such as test cases, RTM, defect reports, and test metrics, with minimal or no review comments.
  • Perform regression testing to detect defects introduced by recent changes in the application.
  • Responsible for both functional and non-functional testing, whether manual or automated, using appropriate testing tools.
