Responsibilities & Context

  • Create test plans based on system requirements and design, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all features and functionalities.
  • Design, execute, and document test cases to validate system performance and functionality.
  • Report defects to developers, provide necessary details, and follow up until modifications are implemented.
  • Analyze the system’s quality to determine if it meets the standards for release, and develop quality improvement measures if required.
  • Automate testing processes to reduce manual effort and improve overall quality assurance.
  • Enhance developers’ quality awareness and quality control techniques to minimize defects.
  • Review requirement definitions and design documents, identifying potential issues or gaps in specifications.
  • Manage and lead the QA team, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Assess the skills and aptitude of QA engineers, assigning tasks based on strengths and creating an effective staff and schedule allocation.
  • Monitor the quality status and progress of all projects, adjusting personnel assignments and schedules to meet project demands.
  • Report progress, communicate, and coordinate with overseas office members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Continuously improve QA processes by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
  • Research and evaluate the latest testing technologies and tools, and adapt them to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
