Additional Requirements
Age between 25 and 35 years.
Proven experience in a reputed knit factory with 100+ product lines.
Strong technical knowledge of fabrics, including cotton, blended, elastane, mélange, and specialized fabrics.
Clear understanding of knitting process parameters and machine performance.
Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving mindset with hands-on presence on the production floor.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
Lead and oversee the end-to-end grey fabrics quality assurance process, from yarn sourcing through knitting and finishing stages.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control standards, SOPs, and inspection systems in line with customer and buyer requirements.
Review and interpret buyer specifications, technical sheets, and fabric parameters to ensure accurate production execution.
Monitor critical fabric quality parameters including GSM, shrinkage, spirality, diameter (dia), yarn faults, knitting defects, and contamination levels.
Ensure effective fabric inspection and grading using internationally accepted 4-point inspection systems.
Coordinate closely with knitting, dyeing, merchandising, production, and R&D teams to identify, resolve, and prevent quality issues.
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Control and reduce rejection, wastage, and buyer claims by strengthening process discipline and operational efficiency.
Train, mentor, and develop the QA team to enhance inspection accuracy, communication skills, and decision-making capabilities.
Ensure factory-wide quality compliance with buyer standards, third-party audits, and internal quality systems.
