  • Excellent command over MS Office is required.
  • Thorough knowledge on RSC, LEED, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, BETTER WORK, HIGG-SLCP, ICS, OEKO-TEX, GRS, RCS, OCS, GOTS, ISO-9001, ISO-14000 etc.
  • Well conversant with Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 and its Rules & Amendment.
  • Well conversant with renowned Brands CoC, especially NEXT, H&M etc.
  • Those who are not directly working in compliance need not to apply.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Audit Preparation & Compliance Certification: Assist the Compliance Manager in preparing for audits and renewing compliance certifications. Prepare the factory for various audits, including RSC, LEED, BSCI, SEDEX, BETTER WORK, HIGG-SLCP, GRS, RCS, ICS, OEKO-TEX, OCS, GOTS, WRAP, ISO-9001, ISO-14000, etc.
  • Licensing & Renewals: Manage the process of obtaining and renewing necessary licenses, including Factory, Trade, Fire, Boiler, Environmental certificates, IRC, ERC, etc.
  • Policy & Record Management: Ensure all departmental policies, records, formats, statements, files, and registers are properly prepared, issued, updated, and maintained according to compliance requirements and standards.
  • Compliance Advisory: Advise management on the company's compliance with laws and regulations, providing detailed reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Action Plan Management: Develop and manage effective action plans in response to audit findings and compliance deviations.
  • Regular Audits & Risk Identification: Conduct regular audits to identify potential weaknesses or risks in company procedures, practices, and documentation.
  • Employee Education: Ensure that all employees are informed about the latest regulations, compliance processes, and procedures.
  • Employee Concerns: Address and resolve employee concerns regarding legal compliance in the workplace.
  • Working Hours Monitoring: Monitor employee working hours regularly, escalating any deviations or exceptions from authorized limits.
  • Labor Law Compliance: Ensure adherence to Bangladesh Labor Laws, International Labor Standards, and Buyer Codes of Conduct.
