Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive – SCM to oversee and optimize our supply chain processes, encompassing Production Material Control (PMC), Purchasing, and Warehouse Management. The role focuses on ensuring efficient, cost-effective material and inventory management while fostering strong supplier relationships and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
- Oversee and monitor all aspects of SCM operations, including warehouse management, procurement, and production planning.
- Ensure efficient management of foreign and local materials, covering inventory tracking, receiving, storage, and movement of products.
- Develop and implement robust material control strategies to guarantee the timely availability of materials for production.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Evaluate and identify potential suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and production capacity.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to maintain a reliable supply chain and ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses effectively.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement and manage advanced inventory control systems to ensure precise tracking of stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within the supply chain management team.
