Responsibilities & Context

  • Maintain 100% honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.
  • Ensure factory operations comply with existing labor laws and social compliance standards, while managing labor, the work environment, and overall management practices effectively.
  • Implement and oversee ethical and social responsibility policies across all company factories.
  • Independently correspond with customers and audit firms on compliance audit-related matters and present the company’s ethical position positively during customer and audit team visits.
  • Keep updated, customer-specific ethical audit files readily available and take initiatives to implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) issued by ethical audit teams.
  • Possess expertise in RMG Sustainability Council (RSC) standards and ensure compliance with structural, fire, electrical, boiler, and safety requirements, including implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
  • Have a thorough understanding of buyers’ Codes of Conduct (COC) and ensure their proper implementation.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of social compliance certifications, including amfori BSCI, Better Work, OCS, RCS, GOTS, SEDEX, BCI, STEP, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, and the Higg Index.
  • Work closely with factory Admin, HR, and Welfare Officers to implement HR and administrative policies in line with social accountability requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of administrative and HR documentation required for third-party ethical audits, identifying and addressing any gaps or deficiencies.
  • Exhibit in-depth knowledge of the USGBC Green Building Standard for LEED certification.
  • Lead quarterly internal audits and participate actively in third-party or buyer-led social and technical audits.
  • Manage compliance with international buyers' supply chain policies and instructions.
  • Take responsibility for any additional compliance-related tasks assigned by management.
