• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with company SOPs.
• Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and make necessary modifications while supporting technical audits.
• Approve fabric shade standards, allocate Quality Inspection (QI) resources, and follow up on JD for quality personnel in the manufacturing area.
• Conduct weekly and monthly quality meetings with internal teams to monitor quality processes across all departments.
• Train production and quality personnel with evidence-based solutions to ongoing production and process challenges.
• Ensure that yearly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and goals are set for the quality team.
• Lead the factory quality team to manage standard procedures, tools, and techniques.
• Conduct QC meetings to discuss plant quality standards and improvements.
• Reduce DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) and analyze the root cause, implementing preventive actions.
• Monitor and provide feedback on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and buyers, providing regular communication and technical recommendations on workmanship issues.
• Advise, teach, and help factories improve quality standards.
• Guide and support factories on avoiding short shipments through rejection management controls.
• Develop action plans to reduce garment defects, analyze issues, and solve quality problems.
• Investigate problem areas and implement best practice solutions within facilities.
• Follow up on non-conformities found in buyer and in-house QC audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
• Plan and manage quality assurance procedures to optimize the use of time, manpower, and resources while ensuring optimal product quality.
• Coordinate with Buying QA/Technical teams and manufacturing management.
• Ensure quality personnel are aware of specific buyer requirements, and provide training to maintain those standards throughout the production process.
• Analyze daily defect percentages, create training schedules, and track progress with the quality team.
• Educate factories on understanding different buyer procedures and monitor progress regularly.
• Ensure the overall quality standard of products in the factory, maintaining minimal failure rates.
