Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Apparel Manufacturing Technology from any recognized University or Masters in any discipline.

Additional Requirements


  • Should have a minimum 12 years of working experience in the relevant field from any reputed woven denim bottom manufacturing factory

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure accurate and optimal capacity planning while focusing on cost reduction and increased profitability.
  • Stay updated on production status to determine if it aligns with the production plan. If it does not, conduct a root cause analysis and provide quick solutions for smooth operations.
  • Analyze and record time and motion, methods, and speeds involved in production, maintenance, and other operations to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.
  • Evaluate staff performance, assess the skills of new operators, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs, and manage career development.
  • Oversee all activities within the Industrial Engineering (IE) department.
  • Calculate cost-effective Standard Minute Values (SMV) for garment costing.
  • Participate in the sample development stage to ensure garments are production-friendly.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the performance of production-related employees and workers.
  • Streamline manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity for all orders.
  • Initiate the implementation of methods and arrange necessary tools and elements for upcoming orders to minimize handling times and reduce manual labor.
  • Ensure proper utilization of resources.
  • Monitor pre-production activities and ensure that back-to-back feeding meets targets without compromising quality.
  • Train and motivate workers to achieve targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Capable of leading the department effectively.
