Responsibilities & Context

  • Must possess knowledge of CLS Audit and be familiar with the 90-day (NIRAPON) related work.
  • Comprehensive understanding of human resources and compliance within the garment industry, including knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law.
  • Capable of managing daily HR and administrative tasks, such as attendance tracking, leave management, compensation and benefits, recruitment, separations, safety, and legal/corporate affairs.
  • Maintain and regularly update employee personal files as required.
  • Keep and update employee registers (regular, resigned, newly joined, etc.).
  • Ensure the timely preparation of salary sheets via the payroll system within three days of each closing month.
  • Able to prepare final settlement documents for employees, including maternity benefits.
  • Monitor performance appraisal processes and manage issues related to increments and promotions as needed.
  • Ensure smooth industrial relations in accordance with local labour laws and existing company policies.
  • Address grievance issues and implement disciplinary actions based on complaints received.
  • Facilitate induction programs for new employees.
  • Assist management in policy development and the creation of related procedures and documents.
  • Draft meeting minutes and report decisions to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Safeguard the personal files of management staff and organizational documents.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management.
  • Capable of independently preparing Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and Corrective Action Plan Reports (CAPR).
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
