Responsibilities & Context

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the strategic and operational aspects of the fertilizer and seed business. This includes working with government organizations, overseeing demonstration plans, ensuring on-time product delivery, and building relationships with corporate clients and tea garden offices. The role also involves planning and reporting on sales to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies.
  • Facilitate the application process for new licenses and renewals of existing licenses.
  • Manage the submission of tenders and coordinate product research, trials, and sample testing with the appropriate government agencies.
  • Collaborate with sales officers to compile and execute annual demonstration plans across various territories, observing the performance of Kazi organic fertilizer on demo crops at different stages in farmers' fields, and submit monthly progress reports to management.
  • Work closely with sales officers and plant managers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Maintain an organized schedule to monitor product movement and meet sales objectives.
  • Establish and maintain connections with tea garden offices in Dhaka to promote and sell fertilizer and seed products.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to shape effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports, including sales performance, market analysis, and forecasting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with sales officers and plant managers for on-time product delivery.
