Responsibilities & Context

  • Create test plans based on system requirements and design, and perform system testing.
  • Report defects to developers, provide necessary information, and follow up until modifications are completed.
  • Analyze the system’s quality to determine release readiness and plan quality improvement measures if necessary, instructing developers accordingly.
  • Automate testing to reduce man-hours while ensuring higher quality assurance.
  • Improve developers’ quality awareness and quality control techniques to reduce defects.
  • Review requirement definitions and design documents, identifying potential issues.
  • Manage the QA team, overseeing performance and development.
  • Assess the skills and aptitude of each QA engineer and optimize staff allocation and scheduling.
  • Monitor overall project quality status and progress, adjusting personnel assignments and schedules as needed.
  • Report, communicate, and coordinate with overseas office members regarding project quality.
  • Improve the QA process by identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Research and evaluate the latest testing technologies and tools, adapting them to each project where applicable.
