Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee the daily receipt and issuance of materials, including fabric, accessories, and general store items.
  • Prepare monthly stock reports and regularly monitor stock levels to ensure minimum inventory thresholds are maintained.
  • Conduct regular physical checks of store items, commodities, and inventories.
  • Supervise the receipt of all incoming products and ensure the integrity and organization of the store area at all times.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of all transactions involving store materials.
  • Raise purchase orders for materials according to established procedures, standing orders, and financial regulations.
  • Prepare monthly ledger purchase requisitions and handle local purchases. Technical experience in store operations is required.
  • Maintain detailed records and provide management with accurate stock information for in/out transactions.
  • Manage overall store operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and organization of the store and the inventory of all received goods.
  • Receive materials from local and foreign suppliers, or other sources, according to L/C and approved purchase documents.
  • Distribute store materials as per requisitions and maintain proper records of received items.
  • Track surplus materials and keep accurate records of all inventory movements.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the store premises.
  • Supervise and lead all store personnel to ensure efficient operation.
  • Responsible for organizing monthly and yearly physical inventories and submitting reports to management on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for store operations.
