• Manage all commercial activities, including preparing import documents such as the bill of exchange, commercial invoice, packing list, buyer packing list, truck challan, beneficiary certificate, shipping bill, and other required documents for buyers, customs, and banks.
• Ensure knowledge of all Incoterms related to letters of credit (LC).
• Coordinate with banks on all import activities, loan sanctioning, renewals, repayments, LCs, purchases, and maturity payments and collections.
• Handle operations related to HS codes, customs regulations, import policies, insurance, and other laws relevant to imports.
• Prepare estimated LC costs (TTI and other expenses) and manage C&F agent and buyer-related activities.
• Oversee all import-related activities, including LC openings, payments, and document collections with the bank.
• Manage dealings with C&F agents for import matters, LCs, shipments, and payments.
• Maintain and update all business documents in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with banks, forwarders, C&F, transport agents, and warehousing providers, and prepare LC margins and LC statements.
• Collect LC performance reports from the bank.
• Prepare B2B and local LC documents, and handle ERC and IRC-related tasks.
