Requirements

Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable. Additional certifications in supply chain or inventory management will be an advantage.

Additional Requirements


  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in the hospital sector or related fields, with proficiency in managing medical equipment, is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in hospital or healthcare inventory management is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transfers, and distributions.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to prevent discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions for different types of materials.
  • Maintain an organized storage system for easy retrieval.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions when required.
  • Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods.
  • Maintain stock registers and digital inventory systems.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on stock movement, shortages, and surplus.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of items.
  • Keep the storage area clean, organized, and secure.
  • Supervise and guide junior store staff if applicable.
  • Participate in hospital meetings and training programs as required.
